Costières de Nîmes Blanc Mas Carlot, Nathalie Blanc-Mares 2017
Nathalie Blanc-Mares is in charge of this imposing 70 hectare property near Bellegarde in Costières de Nimes. Judiciously, several years ago she decided to plant some Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier. The result is the Mas Carlot range of exceptional white wines to complement some classic reds. Modern technology ensures the production of hugely enjoyable wines at everyday prices. Château Paul Blanc is Nathalie’s premium range named after her father.
'Highly Recommended' in the August 2017 Issue of Decanter Magazine by their Southern Rhône Whites Panel, Costières de Nîmes Blanc Mas Carlot 2016 is packed full with honeydew melons, apricots, white peach and honeysuckle. Dry, medium bodied, rich and silky textured, it is a wonderfully harmonious wine, that would pair well with seafood.
Grapes: 60% Roussanne, 30% Marsanne, 10% Viognier
