Costières de Nîmes Château Paul Blanc, Nathalie Blanc-Mares 2016
“Offering loads of golden fruits, vanilla custard, toast and hints of citrus blossom, the 2012 Costieres De Nimes Blanc is medium-bodied, rich and textured on the palate, yet stays classy and fresh. Pair it up with heartier fare over the coming couple of years.” [2012 vintage] Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate eRobertParker.com
Nathalie Blanc-Mares is in charge of this imposing 70 hectare property near Bellegarde in Costières de Nimes. Judiciously, several years ago she decided to plant some Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier. The result is the Mas Carlot range of exceptional white wines to complement some classic reds. Modern technology ensures the production of hugely enjoyable wines at everyday prices. Château Paul Blanc is Nathalie’s premium range named after her father.
Pure and focused with intense aromas of ripe peaches, apricots, marmalade and honeysuckle, Costières de Nîmes Château Paul Blanc 2016 is rich and mouth-filling with great balance and texture.
