Muscadet 'Gneiss' Domaine de l’Ecu 2015
Domaine de l’Ecu, Muscadet
Made from vines which are over 45 years old planted in light gneiss soils, Muscadet 'Gneiss' Domaine de l’Ecu 2015 is refreshingly light with a crisp acidity and enticing grapefruit, melon, herbaceous and chalk elements. A real pleasure to drink and described the 2011 vintage as "chock full of personality" by Jancis Robinson in her Top Holiday Whites article in the Financial Times
Guy Bossard’s Domaine, is surely the most famous in Muscadet, and has been leading generations of young producers who try to follow his path. He has mastered the making of mineral and precise Muscadets with a high definition of terroir.
