Terras Gauda is located in the O Rosal valley, in the Rías Baixas region. There in the north west of Spain the climate is dominated by the Atlantic Ocean, with mild winters, relatively cool summers, high humidity and elevated rainfall. Founded in 1990 by the Fonseca family, Terras Gauda is considered to be one of Rías Baixas’ most emblematic wineries, and routinely produces award-winning white wines made solely from estate-grown fruit.

Intense, fresh aromas of tropical fruit, with ripe pineapple and banana in the foreground, alongside delicate aromas of white fruit such as apple and pear. These aromas are enhanced by pre-fermentation cold maceration. On the palate it exhibits freshness, power and balance. It is a bright, very lively, pleasant, velvety wine - the result of a vintage characterized by its good maturation. All in all, a well balanced and attractive wine. It reveals a great variety of notes of white and tropical fruit, with a powerful and very long finish.
