The Barbaresco "Roccalini" is a clear and clear demonstration of how the Nebbiolo grape is able to give rise to great wines. Cascina Roccalini voluntarily keeps yields per hectare, compared to what is required by the production regulations, so as to obtain full grapes, also thanks to the management of the vineyards under organic conditions. Thus a Barbaresco was born in which structure rhymes with finesse, the result of the great respect that Paolo Veglio, owner of the winery, nourishes for the territory. This "Roccalini" is a Barbaresco that comes from the purity grapes of the red grape variety par excellence of Piedmont, the Nebbiolo. The vines of this variety are grown according to organic farming principles, and the yields between the rows are about 50 quintals per hectare. The grapes, once collected and brought to the premises used for the vinification of Cascina Roccalini, carry out a long fermentation in steel with a submerged cap, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts. Then we proceed with refinement, in which the wine is aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, to be bottled without clarification or filtration. The "Roccalini" Barbaresco wine is revealed on the visual examination with a typical ruby ​​color. The set of perfumes that surrounds the nose has floral and balsamic notes, embellished with more spicy and fruity touches. The taste is full-bodied, round, harmonious, with a pleasant sip, characterized by a sapid vein and a finely integrated tannins. A label with which the Cascina Roccalini winery, a young reality of the Langhe, continues its journey, where quality is the result of a genuine and traditional approach, where there is no space for herbicides or synthetic products.

Red and purple flowers in the nose, kissed with cinnamon and nutmeg, leading you into a smouldering embrace of red currant, black raspberry, baking spice, sweet basil, white pepper, Tabasco-infused, chocolates and black cherries. There are violets and minerals in there as well and the ensemble is rich, yet elegant with a very long finish.
