Estager family, St-Estèphe

30-hectare vineyard, predominantly clay-calcareous. This cru has belonged for more than a century to the Estager family, who had the pleasure of seeing their château included in the original Crus Bourgeois du Médoc classification in 1932. Today it is represented by Bernard and François Estager who hold the reins of the estate.

Well-balanced expression between generous fruit and fine notes of aging (12 months in barrels), with a pleasant spicy freshness. The material, present, is woven with lovely tannins, all roundness and suppleness.

Grapes; 50% Merlot i, 25% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 22% Cabernet Franc (22%) and Petit Rerdot.
