Touraine Diaboli'Côt, Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet 2023

Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet, 

Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet is Jean Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet, who jointly took over Bonnigal’s fourth-generation family domaine in Amboise together in 2015. They’ve got quite a few vineyard parcels, spanning a range of varieties and soil types. These include Chenin Blanc (this wine), Côt (Malbec), Sauvignon Blanc and Pineau d’Aunis. Farming is organic/biodynamic. Le Clocher is a plot on a south-facing clay-limestone terroir above the village of Limeray.

Juicy black cherry and blackcurrant, lifted by notes of violet and a crack of black pepper. The palate is crisp and energetic, with fine, firm tannins giving just the right amount of structure.
