Antica Enotria, Nero di Troia Puglia, Organic 2019
Vinification: these grapes reach the peak of ripeness in first week of October. After harvesting and slightly crushing, the grapes are left to macerate on their skins and ferment at a controlled temperature for 8 days, then the wine age in steel tanks for 8 months before the bottling.
An authentic Nero di Troia, with its mature, clear and vivid color. A tone of cherry, black cherry and plum, as well as peppery and walnut hints. A discreet floral bouquet emerges in the mouth, outlining the acidity, as the very present and mature tannins; harmonious and well-balanced. In the long finish you can appreciate a toasted note that does not cover the fruity/spicy final.
