Bas-Armagnac Château de Millet, Famille Dèche 1996
Francis Dèche, a 5th-generation winemaker and owner of the Bas-Armagnac Château de Millet.
Armagnac is at the very origin of Château de Millet, as evidenced by the two "boilers", in other words the two stills, mentioned in the act of the late nineteenth century when the estate was bought by the family Dèche. All our Armagnacs are produced exclusively from the wines harvested, vinified, distilled at Château de Millet. They are aged in oak barrels until the date of bottling mentioned on the label.
Distilled in a wood-fired still and has an attractive tawny colour and diverse aromas of sandalwood, spices and stewed orchard fruit. The palate is complex and warming with undertones of cinnamon, caramel and vanilla.
