Jean Gardies owns great vineyards on the chalky-clay soils of Vingrau and the black schist of Espira de l’Agly above Perpignan. One of the great French producers, he is quietly making wines representing his identity and interpretation of his terroir. Mixing tradition and modern styling, his wines have great intensity and definition with strong personality. The whites have lovely mineral touches whilst the reds have all the Roussillon power; balanced by freshness and classic mineral character.

Pale yellow color The nose is subtle aromas of apricot, citrus and peaches. On the palate, freshness, lively acidity and flavors of citrus fruits and peaches. A beautiful, persistent finish. Delicate.

Grapes: 40% Grenache Blanc/Grenache Gris, 40 Roussanne, 20% Maccabeu
